Electric Vehicle Power Supply Equipment Information Security Testing

In collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI), electric vehicle (EV) power supply equipment is now included in information security verification. Considering that EV charging equipment with internet connectivity may pose potential information security risks through remote device management and service provision, the testing encompasses various aspects, including communication security, data encryption, access control, and system architecture. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure the stable operation of electric vehicle charging equipment and the security of user data.
