TERTEC assists Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, MOEA, in preparation and revision of the national standard for fuel cells, and accelerates integration with international standards. TERTEC cooperates with BSMI to establish of a fuel cell standard test, certification platform and links to international certification bodies to meet the demands of domestic industrial products entering to international market.

TERTEC also assists Bureau of Energy, MOEA in promoting subsidies for fixed-type fuel cell power generation system and implements the inspection work of the fixed-type fuel cell power generation system at installed site to ensure the operating safety.

In response to the research and development needs of fuel cell power generation systems, TERTEC can assist in the establishment of technologies such as failure modes and effect assessments. As well as, keeping close contact with foreign standard organizations enables speedy acquiring of the latest information on the development of international standards.
