This test can perform on-line/on-site electric detection (partial discharge is one of the measurements) under the condition that the equipment is in the operation state and determine the state of the power equipment (including "input power terminal" and "output load terminal"), and measure insulation defects. It is considered an early detection diagnosis of Condition-Based Maintenance. For example: Ability to measure low impulse signal is one of its characteristics. Equipment that is suitable for such inspection includes: Oil-immersed transformers, die-cast transformers, GIS, rotating electric machines and other power equipment can perform in-depth diagnosis of the insulation state of power equipment. This is helpful for fault diagnosis and ensures power supply safety.
